Yes. This tool exports a PNG with an alpha channel. The checkerboard in the preview shows transparency; it is not part of your download.
Does it change skin or photo colors?
This operation removes the background without adding a color filter or skin treatment. You can choose another tool in the same editor, using the same original.
Can I replace the background instead?
Our separate portrait studio looks replace the background with an ivory or charcoal setting. Custom background uploads and generated scenes are not available.
What is free, and what needs Studio?
13 styles and tools include Standard saves, up to 2048px. You get 3 saves and 30 new previews per day, resetting at midnight UTC. Single-photo fine-tuning is included. Batch processing and ZIP downloads require Studio. Studio offers all styles, sets of up to 20 and 500 HD exports up to 4096px. The one-time price is US$29 once.
